USCIS to Recall 800 Incorrectly Printed Employment Authorization Documents

USCIS to Recall 800 Incorrectly Printed Employment Authorization Documents

According to the U. S. Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS) website, 800 Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) were printed incorrectly and will be recalled, beginning June 21, 2018. The error occurred during the months of April and May 2018, by incorrectly transposing the first and last names of the individuals receiving the EADs, but does not affect the individual’s authorization to work. USCIS will be sending notices of the error and anyone affected should return their EAD to USCIS. For questions, contact the USCIS Contact Center.
