Survey Shows Candidates Consider Resume Lies About Education Most Severe

Many candidates admit to lying when applying for a job. A 2015 Careerbuilder survey of more than 2,000 employers found 56 percent of hiring managers have found at least one lie on resumes submitted to them. Sometimes these lies are obvious, while others are just slight exaggerations meant to put the candidate in the best light.
